The Kiss of Salvation
Posted On: February 11, 2012
The King of Kings has kissed mankind with the gift of salvation. In the words of a famous worship song, “The darling of heaven crucified, worthy is the lamb!” God SO loved the world that He gave His only son to die for us so that we can have eternal life! At the top of the cross Jesus died upon it said “King of Kings.”
The definition of a “kiss” is to touch or caress with the lips as an expression of affection. While OBVIOUSLY I am not saying that Jesus has literally “kissed” us what I am saying is that when we accept God’s gift, Jesus Christ, we are accepting His touch, his embrace. One touch “kiss” from the King of Kings changes our lives forever! We get to spend eternity in heaven and have peace in this life.
There was a woman in the Bible who understood the power of the “kiss.” Luke 7:37-38 says "And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner... brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.” When we truly accept salvation it will make a difference in our life. We will seek for ways to honor the King of Kings in word and in deed. We will not only accept His embrace but we will want to embrace Him.
So accept the “kiss” of salvation today @ http://www.jesussaves.cc
if you have already accepted forward this blog to all your friends!

Unconditional Love
Posted On: February 09, 2012
Grand Nephew Caleb Daniel made his “Grand” entrance into the world this week. What a wonderful gift our family received right here before Valentines Day. As each family member held him there was such a love and acceptance of him. No one was saying, “well when he grows up he better be this or that, or if he doesn’t do this or that we just won’t accept him.” Of course not! He is “our” boy and we love him. Nothing he will or will not do will EVER change our hearts!
If we, being human and flawed, feel this way about our little Caleb how much more does our heavenly father love us? Before the foundations of the world God knew us. When we were in our mothers womb He formed us. We are fearfully and wonderfully made! Now that’s love and God’s love is shown in His ultimate sacrifice to give His only son, Jesus, to die for each of us. John 3:16 says, “For God so love the world that He GAVE His only son that whosoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life.” That’s true love!
God’s love is not based on are goodness or how we perform but rather on who’s we are and we are ALL God’s children when we accept His son, Jesus Christ, who gave His life for ALL of us. Receiving the love of Jesus and living in his love everyday, is the first and most essential step in having a love worth giving. Jesus gave His life for YOU so give your life to Him. Just like we have accepted and love our little Caleb just because he is in our family so God loves you and accepts you! Become a part of God’s family today. Click here to accept Jesus Christ!

Are you in a cold smelly place in life today?

Joseph picks up a lamb and brings it close to baby Jesus to keep him warm. Both Mary and Joseph then doze off to sleep.... Suddenly the inn keeper comes to the barn door and says "excuse me but there are some sheperd boys here to see you." Imagine with me what Joseph and Mary must have been thinking.
Perhaps Mary was shy and questioning who these group of men were. Joseph thinking "Wow they followed a star to get here. Whew! my son really is the Messiah."Just at the right moment God ordained the sheperds to arrive at the inn the encourage Mary and Joseph. Sent them to confirm that Jesus is really the "son of God."
Are you in a cold smelly place in life today? Maybe at one time you accepted Christ and started on a journey but along the way you lost hope. You need an unexpected visitor to show up in your life!
Take just a minute and breathe these words, "Heavenly Father, in Jesus name I ask that I would feel your presence RIGHT NOW. Visit with me. I receive you a fresh and a new into my life. I believe Jesus Christ is the son of God and that he not only came as a baby but he died as the sacrifice for my sins. I need you to visit with me."
Here at jesussaves.cc we believe with you that God will visit you. If you prayed this prayer please let us know by going to the page "ask for salvation" and click that you have prayed the prayer then fill out the quick form to let us know you have prayed. We want to be here for you during your journey!
